The false pregnancy is confirmed, so now we have to somehow give the dog the liquid medicine. Something like 45 drops a day for 5 days. Find a way to do this should be interesting. It was funny when the lady who was selling dog drugs asked us if Hera developed false pregnancies after every heat. Gape-worthy moment. No, thank you, that's the first time.

We will have to neuter her, too, sometime in autumn. Scary.

Administering medication to pets is always tricky, so good luck with that – and with the operation Hera will have to have in the autumn too. The specific term for neutering a female dog in English is 'spaying'. I'm sure that having Hera spayed will be a safe, routine job, and that she will be fine. :-)

Thank you for the correction.

And we will hope for the best. :)

Not a correction! Truly. What you wrote was fine. Neutering is a perfectly correct overall term for the veterinary procedure. I just thought that you might like to know the gender specific term for female animal neutering. :-)
